Challenge
The task was to design a visually engaging and conversion-driven homepage. I decided to go for a fictional gelato company, namned Dolce Vita, showcasing their vibrant cakes and aligning the design with the brand identity I developed. I wanted to create a design that captured the playfulness of their products while maintaining usability and functionality across both desktop and narrow screen devices. I aimed to integrate rounded shapes inspired by their products and contrasted them with bolder typography and design assets, delivering a cohesive yet dynamic visual experience.
Goal
The goal was to create a playful and inviting homepage for Dolce Vita that both reflected their colorful brand identity and enhanced user experience across devices. The design needed to engage users and encourage them to interact with the page, leading to conversions like purchases or sign-ups. Additionally, the project required optimizing the layout and interactive elements for both desktop and mobile platforms, ensuring a seamless experience regardless of the device.

I developed a high-fidelity homepage design using Figma, blending playful, rounded shapes with bold typography to create a vibrant yet polished look. The design incorporated clear calls-to-action and intuitive navigation, leading to an enjoyable user experience on both desktop and narrow screens. The visual design aligned closely with the visual identity I created for Dolce Vita’s brand, while the user interface (UI) delivered on the goal of driving conversions by focusing on clear, engaging content and a cohesive visual narrative tied to their product offering.
