MISSION

Concept and web design.

Challenge

At my internship at KAN, I was tasked with creating a concept and web design for Dynapac’s premium line of products. The main challenge was to find a way to clearly differentiate the premium line from the rest of the product range, while I also felt the need for a more modern, cohesive design that better reflected Dynapac’s visual identity. The existing web design felt outdated and disconnected from the brand's overall identity, which prompted the need for a complete redesign.

Goal

The goal was to develop a web design concept that clearly distinguishes Dynapac's premium line from its basic product offerings. I aimed to achieve this by creating a distinct visual contrast, shifting from light mode for the basic line to dark mode for the premium line. This design decision was intended to evoke a sense of exclusivity and sophistication, while also improving and simplifying the user experience by making the customer journey more intuitive and clear. Additionally, I ensured that the new design was tightly aligned with Dynapac’s overall visual identity.

Result

The final concept successfully established a clear distinction between Dynapac's premium and basic lines through the use of dark mode for the premium products. This gave the premium line a more luxurious and exclusive appearance, setting it apart from the rest of the range. The new web design was modern and aligned with Dynapac's visual identity, creating a cohesive and consistent user experience across the site. The concept was well-received, achieving the goal of elevating Dynapac's premium product line and reinforcing the brand’s identity.
