Challenge
The challenge was to develop a graphic profile and packaging design for the fictional wine producer Österlenvin, evoking the spirit of Skåne’s rich agricultural heritage. The design had to balance modern appeal with an earthy, authentic feel, using the colors red, yellow, and green, while creating packaging that stood out yet felt grounded in the natural landscape of the region.
Goal
The goal was to capture the essence of Skåne in summer—its fields, harvest, and rural charm—through a graphic identity that felt rooted in nature. By using deep, earthy tones inspired by the Swedish countryside, I aimed to create a warm, inviting brand. The packaging, designed in Tetra Rex format, would reflect the simplicity and sustainability of the region’s winemaking tradition.
Result
The final design for Österlenvin is a harmonious blend of rustic elegance and modernity. The deep reds, yellows, and greens evoke the beauty of Skåne’s landscape, while the clean lines of the Tetra Rex packaging offer a sustainable and contemporary feel. The result is a brand identity that feels authentic and connected to its roots, resonating with wine lovers looking for a genuine taste of Skåne.
